Alisée de Tonnac started her career by working as a product manager in a big cosmetics firm. As time was passing, she kept feeling that she was not doing a very meaningful job and she could no longer ignore the inner voice that kept asking her: “is this really what I'm going to do for the next several years?” She decided she wanted to make a difference five years ago, so she launched Seedstars along with her two co-founders.

Seedstars is an organization founded with the aim to make an impact in emerging markets, by fostering startups and entrepreneurship. They operate the biggest startup competition in emerging markets by investing in and creating valid solutions and sustainable business models. Seedstars also organizes acceleration programs for corporate and government foundations, as well as the academy programs for training aspiring entrepreneurs.
