On the thirty-eighth episode of the fifth season of The Sports-Casters, hosts Steve Bennett and Don Russ welcome Joe Buck (Fox Sports), and Dan Levy (The Comeback, Awful Announcing). Starting the show with 3Things, Steve and Don discuss Oklahoma securing a spot in the College Football Playoffs, the playoff picture in the NFL, and Pat Kane's record setting point streak. The book club features a new book by the Puck Daddy Greg Wyshynski and for the first time a CD. The show ends with the Steve talking about the future of Howard Stern.
-Joe Buck is making his first appearance (00:29:08) on the podcast. Joe joins us to talk about calling the World Series in a three man booth, working with Troy Aikman, and tells a story about a special guest in the booth with him when the Saints won the NFC Championship Game. Joe also talks about his new show on the Audience Network, Undeniable. Joe talks about how the idea for the show came to be, we compare the interview style to the interviews done by Howard Stern, and Joe reveals a few of his favorite interviews from the first season.

Dan talks about what the site is trying to be, the mechanics behind finding the staff, and what how he thinks it might evolve during the first year. Dan also promotes a huge comic book project involving his superhero son, IronMax and explains why he can't wait to change his avatar on twitter.
