On the thirty-fourth episode of the fifth season of The Sports-Casters, hosts Steve Bennett and Don Russ welcome Jeff Passan (Yahoo! Sports), and Eddie Trunk (That Metal Show, SiriusXM). Starting the show with 3Things, Steve and Don discuss the start of the World Series, the end of the Ryan Mallet era in Houston, and wonder if Jonathan Quick is a great goaltender. The book club is back with this year's edition of The Best American Sports Writing Series and a new book by a podcast favorite The show ends with one last thing on pass interference in the NFL and the television show, Fargo.

Jeff also talks about the maturity of the Royals, what it will take for the Mets to comeback, and if he cares about the outcome of the series.
