Times have changed but the most basic principles of being a man haven't. Despite lifestyle and politics, a man still has to survive, protect, and do what it takes to raise a family if he so chooses. Huub Van Maris was born in the late 50s, surrounded by men who had just been through the second world war and depended on their basic, no-bullshit masculinity for survival.
Huub Van Maris believes that being honourable is part of being a man. That means;
- Keep your word.
- Provide
- Be truthful.
- Be clear on your purpose.
- Do whatever you can to fulfill your purpose.
