Today we are talking with Chase Borries about his GIANT Mississippi public land buck he tagged on opening day last year! Chase was able to capitalize on a cold front and get the buck to under 15 yards while hunting from the ground in a palmetto swamp. Subjects:
- Locating bucks in flat river bottom areas
- Finding a buck of this caliber in the midst of a lot of hunting pressure
- Keying in on edges
- Tucking into the palmettos for a ground setup
