This week we are joined by Cale Stancil, who was able to tag a huge Tennessee public land buck last season! Cale focused on hunting a thermal hub the buck had been coming through and used historical sign and a knowledge of wind and thermals to put himself in the right place at the right time. Subjects include:
- Reading historical sign
- Hunting an area based off past experience rather than trail cams
- Learning the spot you are going to hunt like the back of your hand
- Learning how to hunt areas where wind normally swirls
- Choosing the right MOMENT to access a spot
and a ton more! Andrew & Jacob go on to discuss using licking branches in late summer to locate bachelor groups of bucks and a large deadhead Andrew found in a new spot on the public in Alabama.
