First principles thinking has been popularized and championed by the likes of Elon Musk to great affect these days.
But, what if we were to apply the same kind of "start from scratch" mentality to all of the most notable and well established theories and fields of science?
A very well written and pointed essay by Steve Patterson titled "Our Present Dark Age" did just that. And what it reveals explains why our scientific fields and academies have been so corrupted and co-opted in recent history. Resulting in the most egregious travesties of our life time.
