President Joe Biden says, "I respect" New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's decision to resign amid sexual harassment and an impeachment probe.
On Tuesday, Cuomo said his resignation will take effect in two weeks. He also said in part, "I'm a fighter" but my resignation will "let the government get back to governing."
President Biden is looking into whether he has the authority to intervene in states where governors are trying to ban mask mandates. Those states include Florida and Texas.
The American Academy of Pediatrics is urging the FDA to speed up vaccine authorization for children under 12 years of age.
