These geothermal pools draw visitors to the park each year because of their beautiful colors. Tim McDermott is a soil and environmental biologist at Montana State University who has been researching the thermophiles in Yellowstone for the past 20 years. He joins Nate on the show today to talk about these amazing microbes.
