We chat with Indu, the lead for Same But Different, a legal guidebook that collates existing community laws in Singapore and applies them to situations that LGBT couples and families might face. We also speak to Mick, one of their volunteers about his experience as a trans person living in Singapore and the obstacles that he faces.
Our guests discuss the legal and social challenges faced by the LGBT community, tackle the notion of "ignorance is bliss" when it comes to legal arrangements, and suggest some solutions that will last way longer than a Google Doc.
