The often-quoted George Santayana famously said, “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.” The importance of understanding the past to be successful in the future is being neglected in America, and we must remember our heritage to survive.</p><p><br></p><p>In this special episode of the Sentinel Report on Lindell TV, Alex Newman interviews David M. Valladares to discuss this important topic.</p><p>Valladares is a professor of history and communications at Tallahassee College (USA). His areas of research include British foreign policy during the interwar period and South African Unification. He recently published “Tragedy or Betrayal? Interwar Europe and British</p><p>Appeasement.” He earned his doctorate from Florida State University in modern European history and has other degrees in literature and communications. In addition to his work at Florida State University, Dr. Valladares has studied at the University of Florida and St. Catherine’s College, Cambridge. He has served on the editorial board of the Southeastern Review and as an editor for The Oxford Handbook of World War II.
