This week David and Marina of FAME Architecture & Design talk about their recent road trip through the southwest region of the United States. The two cover the value of local architecture, adobe buildings, the role nature has in cities, designing experiences, how architecture can co-exist with the natural landscape, craftsmanship, and more. The trip lasted two weeks with each night spent in a different hotel. Destinations included New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Taos Pueblo in New Mexico, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West, and Joshua Tree and Palm Springs in California.
