Manchester United losing 1-6 to Spurs is the sort of result you could just about imagine happening in real life, if things ever went as badly off the rails for United as early in the game as they did yesterday. But Liverpool losing 7-2 to Villa in the very next game... does... not... compute... Is this just what football is now? How did it get this way?
