The bill would eliminate the current 1.4 million illegal immigrants receiving Medicaid benefits at the expense of American taxpayers. In Geneva, along with Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, President Trump was able to reach a trade agreement with China. By May 14th, the United States and China will lower tariffs by 115 percent. Both countries will suspend the 34 percent reciprocal tariffs, while the U.S. will retain its 10 percent fair-trade tariff. This is a huge step in rebalancing the massive trade deficit the Biden administration allowed to take place. In 2020, President Trump put in place an excellent trade agreement with China that Biden did not enforce. President Trump was able to negotiate a ceasefire between two nuclear armed countries, Pakistan and India over the weekend. The president was able to negotiate with trade deals in mind when bringing the immediate ceasefire to the two countries. At home, President Trump reduced drug prices by 30 - 80 percent. By creating a "most favored nation" policy, President Trump is ensuring that Americans will pay the same price as the nation that pays the lowest price in the world. President Trump also secured the return of the last remaining American hostage in Gaza, Edan Alexander. What a week we have in store for you on the Sean Spicer Show! Over the weekend, world leaders lined up to shake President Trump's hand at Pope Francis's funeral. If you are a political junkie, then today's show is a must-watch. Jon Allen and Amie Parnes are veteran journalists that spill the tea on everything leading up to the 2024 election. As Joe Biden's cognitive collapse made its way to households around the country and the world, Biden's blunders were far more apparent and evident behind the scenes. As Joe Biden's cognitive collapse made its way to households around the country and the world, Biden's blunders were far more apparent and evident behind the scenes. Examples such as Biden giving then Speaker McCarthy a tour of the pool house dressing room, or asking where a deceased Congresswoman was during the tour. Biden's closest aides did everything in their power to not only keep their jobs but cover up these outrageous lapses in Biden's cognition. Meanwhile VP Harris and her team conjured up a contingency plan around Biden passing away while in office. It was shaky ground to say the least and it all came crashing down in July, when Biden met Donald Trump on the debate stage. A bitter and betrayed Biden tried to paint himself as a magnanimous leader stepping down as the top Democratic knives came out, including betrayal from Pelosi, Obama and Schumer. The problem was, nobody had faith in Kamala, including Obama, yet here she was. How could Democrats, after everything they preach, pass on the first black woman running for the highest office in the land? As tensions grew amongst Democratic camps, Donald Trump was running a very disciplined, unchaotic campaign led by Wiles and LaCivita. Kamala's scripted and sometimes edited appearances couldn't hold a candle to the long-form podcast and interviews President Trump and Vice President JD Vance were appearing in. As top Obama and Biden aides projections show Donald Trump winning, they told Harris/Walz a different story. It was only on election night as the votes came in did Kamala's bubble burst and her dreams shattered. At the end of the day, President Trump first beat Joe Biden, then beat Kamala Harris to become our 47th president. Kevin Hassett is the Director of the National Economic Council, on today's show he walks us through everything that happened this week with respect to tariffs and the U.S. economy. As country after country lined-up to make a deal with President Trump, the president put a pause on all tariffs except China. President Trump has now raised the tariffs to 145% in relation to China. President Trump slapped China with additional tariffs, raising the total to 104 percent. This ignited an immediate response by China with 84 percent tariff on imports of U.S. goods. This forced Apple to fly plane loads of goods to the U.S. before the tariffs struck to avoid the price hike. The Apple iphone may jump up to $2500 when it's all said and done if the countries don't come to the table to negotiate. China relies heavily on the U.S. market and has used and abused the rules of the WTO for years. President Trump is the first to put his foot down in the unfair practices China has employed for decades. President Trump also signed executive orders reinvigorating the coal industry. He lifted the Biden era restrictions on clean coal plants and is accelerating permitting and funding on new coal projects which will allow the coal industry to flourish. The jobs report came in over the weekend and President Trump added 228,000 jobs in March. That's about double what the experts and economist predicted, including 10,000 in manufacturing jobs while President Biden lost nearly 9,000 manufacturing jobs per month. Another $1.4 Billion in unused COVID funds will be returned to taxpayers through the department of Treasury. The tariffs are shaking up global markets as President Trump is trying to fix years worth of unfair trade practices. We are a day away from filling the Congressional seats left vacant from Matt Gaetz and Mike Waltz.
