Mark Schmitz and Darin Hoover are Gold Star Dads following the attacks in Kabul. Darin Hoover lost his son Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, who was only 11 years old when the WTC towers were attacked in 2001. Even at that young age he wanted to serve his nation seeing the horrors of that day. Mark Schmitz lost his 20-year-old son, Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz and described a very tense and negative experience with Biden in Dover.
