Show Notes

In this week's episode we talk about our decision to intercalate during medical school. We delve into factors to consider when applying for an iBSc especially the advantages and disadvantages. We finally explore the many skills and attributes we developed which we would have not picked up from conventional medicine.

Find out how Amz and Abdul both landed a 1st Class Hons?

Our 3 golden pieces of advice from this weeks episode:

• iBSc is an excellent opportunity to develop and learn a new skill set and improve your lateral and critical thinking. You can also study at a different university with a new cohort of students.

• An intercalated BSc will allow you to maximise your publications, poster presentations and take part in cutting-edge research.

• An opportunity to meet non-medics and grow your network.
