(May 10, 2012) Dr J appears on the KQED Forum to discuss marriage in the context of North Carolina's passage of a constitutional amendment affirming marriage as a lifelong union of one man and one woman and President Obama's announcement that he believes individuals of the same sex should be able to "marry" one another. Also on with her in this segment are Marc Sandalow and Rebekah Orr; Michael Krasny moderates.

Jim McGlone is president of Harvard True Love Revolution and Harvard Right to Life, and Anne Morse is president of Berkeley Students for Life.

(February 9, 2012) In this debate at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, Dr J and Christine Sun ponder the definition of marriage. Dr J, of course, is founding president of the Ruth Institute; Christine Sun is Deputy Legal Director at the Southern Poverty Law Center. The debate includes a long Q&A before closing statements.

(February 16, 2012) Dr J speaks as part of an event at Our Lady of Bethesda Retreat Center in Maryland. Her talk's entitled "Same-Sex Marriage: Why Not?"

(February 7, 2012) In this debate at the University of Houston, cohosted by the Federalist Society and Outlaw, Dr J squares off against Mitchell Katine over the definition of marriage. Dr J, of course, is founding president of the Ruth Institute. Mitchell Katine was the local attorney for John Lawrence of the Lawrence v Texas decision, which overturned all sodomy statutes in the U.S.

(February 6, 2012) Dr J speaks on secular and religious reasons to uphold marriage to a group of Catholic young adults in Houston, Texas.
