Scott is a professor of political science at Boise State University. He lives near Boise with his wife, Amy. They have five kids, one out of college and married, two in college, one senior in high school (Lumpy), and a sixth grader (Biscuit). Scott is also chairman of the board at a classical Christian school, the Ambrose School, which is in Meridian, Idaho. He is author of Family Politics, the idea of marriage in modern political thought, David Hume's Humanity, a book on Reconstruction, and a forthcoming book published by Baylor University Press entitled Recovering Family Life: The Rolling Revolution and Its Limits, published later this summer (Lord willing!).

James Younger, a 7-year-old boy, appears to be being forced to live as a girl by his non-biological mother. He is in danger of being chemically and possibly surgically transitioned in addition to being forced to wear dresses, a train of craziness that began when he watched "Frozen" and liked the character Elsa. We're making available hotlines to Governor Abbott, petitions, and generally raising awareness, which may have an effect on Judge Kim Cooks' handling of this case. Dr J gets to meet a lot of cool people in her line of work, and we'd like to introduce some of them (as many as possible, honestly) to you. This is the audio of our first episode's interview with guest Brandon Showalter. Dr J has his bio, and then we're off and running, and they'll be discussing transgenderism. Brandon's a reporter for the Christian Post, and this is one of his beats, so he's written an incredible number of articles on the subject. Their topic today is the effects of abortion on women, specifically the serious psychological after-effects and the difference in the quality of studies on the subject coming out of America and Europe.

They're discussing Dr J's latest Book, The Sexual State, and pillars and tenets of the sexual revolution and its continuing effects on society and culture.

(July 26, 2019) Dr J is once again Molly Smith's guest on Salem Radio's "From the Median." They're discussing how various American professional societies are promoting sexual deviance of all kinds…which will result in further destruction of the family. The American Psychological Association is prominently involved, which is mind-boggling given the effects on children. Dr J is an Acton fellow; she's been with the program since the beginning.
