Matthew Taylor is the defence coach for Scotland. He is a 46 year old father of two, former flanker who played in Australia and Scotland with clubs such as Souths, Sunnybank, Edinburgh and Borders.
He started coaching at Exeter Chiefs in 2005 then went home to coach in Australia at Sunnybank Rugby Club and The Southport School. This led to working with the QLD REDS and following 2013, Matt returned to Scotland to coach with the Glasgow Warriors and the Scotland National team.
