The Roy Green Show Podcast

Victoria, B.C. has uprooted the statue of John A. Macdonald in front of Victoria City Hall. In light of this move, Roy talks with Geoff Young, the only city councilor in Victoria to vote against removing the statue, and the statue’s sculptor John Dann. And later we talk about the historical context of such statues, with the creator of the bronze Macdonald statue in Picton, Ontario, Ruth Abernathy.

NAFTA is a mess, Saudi Arabia is a mess, and the Federal Carbon Tax is a mess. Things are rough for Trudeau’s government right now. Two former Liberal Members of Parliament, Michelle Simson and Dan McTeague, discuss the situation that the Liberal party finds itself in.

And Australia has taken away the citizenship of five individuals who had dual-citizenship when they joined ISIS. Australia’s handling of the situation is in stark contrast to how Trudeau’s Liberal government deals with Canadians who join terror groups. Scott Newark offers a legal perspective on how Canada deals with terrorism.
