The Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs issued a news release that UBCIC Stands with Jody Wilson Raybould. However in recent days, a number of indigenous Chiefs across Canada have expressed disappointment that JWR declined an offer from Justin Trudeau to become the Indigenous Affairs Minister. Roy is joined by Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, of the UBCIC, to discuss the JWR/Trudeau/SNC-Lavalin situation.
Pierre Poilievre, CPC MP and Finance critic writes in a new opinion piece that the federal government can lift a government contract procurement ban on convicted corporate criminals with the stroke of a pen. In fact, the Trudeau government had already done with SNC in December, 2015, even though they had already been banned for the original corruption charges. MP Poilievre elaborates on this.

He argues that as Attorney General for Canada, Jody Wilson-Raybould should have reported to the RCMP that she was being interfered with as soon as the interference from PMO/Trudeau began.
