The Royal Wedding has turned our focus to the relevance of the royal family in Canada in 2018. Last year IPSOS conducted a national poll for Global News and found that 61% of Canadians described the Royals as "simply celebrities and nothing more." Even though it is extremely difficult from a constitutional perspective, is it time for Canada to separate itself from The Royal Family?
