The Financial Accountability Office says Ontario's deficit will jump to almost $12 billion this year as a result of higher spending in the Liberal government’s 2018 budget and weak revenue gains.
This announcement comes a week after Ontario’s auditor general declared that the provincial deficit is nearly double the amount stated by the Wynne government.

TD Bank research shows that over a 7 year period, the Canadian economy lost $117 billion by being essentially forced to sell our oil at a major discount to the United States. This apparently happened because Canada lacks the pipeline infrastructure to directly transport exportable oil to ports on the East and West coasts.
