University of Ottawa professor Michael Guest tweeted that he is the grandson of Holocaust survivors and asked if it would be too much to expect the Heritage Minister to say something - anything - about his department funding a virulent antisemite, despite multiple warnings. Geist was immediately tagged as racist by Liberal MP Chris Bittle, parliamentary secretary to the Heritage Minister.
