This week opposition party members of the parliamentary Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs (PROC) voted to support a non-binding motion calling for a public inquiry into China's interference in Canadian federal elections of 2019 and 2021. Liberal MPs on the committee voted against and the PM continues to refuse to engage a public inquiry.
