The $250 million civil fraud case against Donald Trump began in New York City this week. If convicted, Trump could lose his control of Trump Tower in Manhattan and other businesses, as well as properties and his licences to conduct business in the state. Yesterday Trump tried to halt the trial, but an appeals judge denied the request of the 45th president of the United States.
