Show Notes
Teen gender issues and gender dysphoria. While provinces (Saskatchewan and New Brunswick took the lead) passed legislation enshrining parental rights on such decisions, in Switzerland a teen is being removed from her parents care because of their objection to puberty blockers. Is Canada and cases such as this next? The main theme has become respecting the right of a young child, deemed mature by the medical profession, to make potentially life-altering medical choices, but not deemed sufficiently mature to make decisions to drive until age 16, or smoke or drink until age of majority. A major election issue in both Saskatchewan and New Brunswick, but what about B.C.? And what about your child?
