Canadians going hungry. 5.8 million Canadians, including 1.4 million children suffered from food insecurity in 2021 (University of Toronto study. Author with us last weekend). - This week the Dalhousie University Agri-Food Analytics Lab released its "Canadian Grocers: Measuring Greed in the Era of Consumer Distrust" report. Studies the past five years performance of the three largest grocers and compare their historical results to how they have been doing thus far this year.
