Show Notes

A heatwave in central/eastern Canada this week.

A listener emailed following constant provincial and municipal warnings on how to deal with the heatwave "oh thanks. Whatever would I do without the great overseer." Too harsh?

Also repeat stories about hot classrooms needing AC, etc.

@s_guilbeault on X assuring "we're all in it together" as far as surviving heatwaves is concerned. -

Sorry if this rains on the parade, but heatwaves in the 90's Fahrenheit in June are not new. In the 1960's in an almost brand new high school in Montreal, none of our classrooms had AC, boys dress code required sports jacket, dress pants, shirt and tie and dress shoes when the mercury reached 90+F.

Guest: Greg Brady. Host: Toronto Today on AM 640. Greg's X post challenging the barrage of how to deal with hot weather warnings from muni/prov officials generated great response.
