Answers politicians are preoccupied by gaining votes through photo opportunities. - As well, Caldwell says we have in many ways ceased to be country. - Questions our post-secondary education institutions. Says we don't debate any longer, but rather attack ideas. - Canada no longer seen as a destination for investment. - Argues people outside Canada view us differently and not as a dependable ally and/or economic partner. - Caldwell argues political parties foist people on us who aren't leaders.
