A horrible case of animal abuse in Nova Scotia left a young dog starved to death inside a cage on the back seat of a car with a bag of dog food on the front seat. The owner of the dog received four months house arrest 20 months probation and a ten year ban on owning a pet. The head of the Nova Scotia SPCA is disappointed.
