Show Notes
Sheri Arsenault of Alberta lost her 18 year old son Bradley when he and two friends, Thaddeus Lake and Kole Novak, were killed by a drunk driver in 2011. Sheri Arsenault has been pushing for a five year minimum sentence for drunk driving causing death convictions and three weeks ago appeared at a parliamentary committee reviewing federal omnibus justice legislation at which she was studiously ignored by LIberal MPs.
A parole hearing is now scheduled November 15 for Jonathan Pratt, who killed the three teens when he drove his truck at high speed into their vehicle. He is allowed to have a lawyer present, she is not. Shere fears her Victim Impact Statement will be largely ignored.
