Barbara Kay starts the podcast, discussing her new National Post column, ‘Don't ever question mass immigration or you be instantly racist.’ Are people reluctant to question immigration policies out of fear of being labeled racist?

A week ago, the issue of women from Gulf States flee for their lives out of fear of their fathers and families, created national headlines in Canada. Last weekend 18-year-old Rahaf Alqunun from Saudi Arabia was granted asylum in Canada after very publicly expressing fear her family would harm her for renouncing Islam. In another case, Sheikha Latifa, the daughter of the billionaire ruler of Dubai and vice president of the U.A.E. attempted to escape her family and the country. Nothing was heard from Latifa for months until a yacht she was on was boarded by military commandos and Latifa was returned to Dubai. Amnesty International and the former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson became involved. Sheika Latifa contacted our guest, Radha Stirling, seeking assistance after her escape. Rada Stirling will speak about what life is like for women in the Gulf States in the patriarchal societies and her association with the daughter of the ruler of Dubai
