There has been a drastic increase recently in the number of male celebrities who are facing allegations of sexual harassment, assault and abuse.
Meanwhile, an Ottawa court found a husband not guilty of sexually assaulting his wife because the man – part of an arranged marriage in Gaza – honestly believed he had the right to intercourse with his Palestinian wife whenever he wanted.
What kind of message will this send to women in Canada who may be in vulnerable positions?
