Canadians enraged over how teaching assistant Lyndsay Shepherd was treated by professors and the administration of Laurier University over her plan to include in the classroom positions taken by U of Toronto psychology Professor Jordan Peterson concerning his refusal to address transgender students using non-existing pronouns they prefer over the standard his/her, him/she. Led to an apology to Shepherd from the Laurier president and her supervising professor. .
