Tensions continue to build between the U.S. and Canada. Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland has said that Canada will neither escalate nor back down from fighting against Donald Trump’s tariffs, and that this move is backed by a wide array of Canadians. Andrew Scheer, leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, thinks that this situation should have been handled differently.
