The Deputy Commissioner was referencing "at least a dozen Canadians detained in Syria amidst the collapse of the so-called Islamic State." First, Roy talks with Abigail R. And then Scott Newark and Roy continue the conversation about the statement by the RCMP Deputy Commissioner, and the release from prison of Kevin Omar Mohamed, who the Parole Board of Canada assesses as a continuing serious risk. This week we also found out about Pamir Hakimzadah, who returned to Toronto after failing to join ISIS in 2014. His story could not be told until now because of court-sealed records of an RCMP investigation.
