Last weekend we spoke with electric vehicle owners and supporters of EV's. Complaints arrived from listeners who argue EV owners bypass what internal combustion engine owners must face, namely gasoline taxes to support road infrastructure maintenance.
The state of Illinois is considering addressing that issue by charging EV owners $1000 per vehicle. EV owners response? "It's outrageous."
