As Saskatchewan premier Scott Moe shared with us on air last Sunday would be happening this week, the provincial government introduced new policies for parental inclusion and consent. Schools must seek parent/guardian permission when changing the preferred name and pronoun used by students under the age of 16. Parents/guardians must be informed about the sexual health education; and, curriculum and have the option to decline their children's participation. (There is more....)
