Inflation rose to 3.3% in July. Consumer prices rose as well and for the first time since before the pandemic Canada's inflation was higher than that of the U.S. Huge impact on Canadian consumers, home owners, investors, and those saving for and/or living in retirement.
BMO chief economist: "There's no sense sugar-coating this one. This is not a good report for the Bank of Canada."
