The controversial Bill C-11 has passed its final vote in the Senate this past Thursday, and when becoming law will force digital platforms like Netflix and YouTube to contribute financially to Canadian content. The bill has seen a lot of push back from many platforms including YouTube, but what is the effect on Cdns and what their favourite platforms?
