Today's message text: Ecclesiastes 2:1-11
This passage discusses the pursuit of pleasure and material wealth as ultimately meaningless and futile. The Preacher reflects on his own experiences of seeking fulfillment through various means such as possessions, wine, homes, gardens, entertainment, and sexual pleasure. He says, “I kept my heart from no pleasure.” However, after considering all his hands has done, his conclusion was it all failed to bring lasting pleasure and true meaning to life.
