Show Notes
Rich kicks off the hour remind everyone that we are exactly one month away from the NFL Draft and that he is exactly 1000% nervous that the Jets will screw it up completely.
Rich reacts to comments by Bears’ GM Ryan Pace touting Andy Dalton’s resume, and reminds Chicago fans that they probably deserved better.
NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell and Rich discuss if Trevor Lawrence is really that much better than BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, if the Jets could surprise everyone and stick with Sam Darnold as their QB instead of drafting his replacement, if Mac Jones or Trey Lance will be the third quarterback off the board on draft day, why Ohio State’s Justin Fields reminds him of a smaller version of Cam Newton, which dark horse QB the Bears could target later on in the draft, and if the top draft QBs can be compared to any current NFL QBs.
Rich wraps up the hour debating TJ on whether all the pundits are overrating Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence as the NFL’s “Next Great QB.”
