July of 1997 was an interesting time in the USWA and this is a very fun episode. On this episode, Gene welcomes the man who brought "Kick Ass Wrestling" to Memphis, Terry Golden! A fun conversation with the man who created and promoted KAW which eventually became the WWE Developmental promotion, Memphis Championship Wrestling. It's a fun story hearing how KAW came to be and Terry even shares a story about it that he hasn’t been shared in previousinterviews based on some new information he just recently learned. KAW was a great promotion that doesn't get enough attention and I was thrilled to get to talk to Terry about it here.
