Show Notes

Having the potential for stock market gains without the chance of stock market losses... sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? The good news is, it is possible inside of a product called the Fixed Indexed Annuity. The bad news is, there are a lot of insurance sales people who are pushing annuities as the only wise investment, and they have no business OR license to be discussing "investments". The fixed indexed annuity is not a stock or bond, but rather, is an insurance-backed savings vehicle that should be well understood before buying. In this episode, Dale takes a deep dive into the pros AND CONS of the fixed indexed annuity. Dale also lays out a simple understanding of how a fixed indexed annuity should be implemented in a retirement plan. Dale also discusses the fact that there are some very bad products and even worse "advisors" out there. Dale encourages listeners to work with someone that they trust, who is fully independent and able to represent the client's best interest- instead of the interest of the firm they represent. If properly implemented, the fixed indexed annuity can become a very strong foundation on which you build a successful, WORRY FREE, retirement income plan. Before you "invest" in a fixed indexed annuity, listen to this show or call us at 270.600.PLAN.
