Show Notes

In this week's episode of The Resistance Library, Molly joins the show for the first time. She and Sam discuss the Waco siege, which started on February 28, 1993. The two talk about what led up to the incident at Mount Carmel and how the siege began, as well as the tragic ending that resulted in over 80 deaths, 20 of which were children.

It's important to separate fact from fiction when it comes to the siege of Waco, just as it is important to do so with the siege of Ruby Ridge or the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi. With every event, it is important to stick to the facts and what can be extrapolated from them to make the strongest argument about what went wrong and why, and what could be done differently in the future.

Molly and Sam share their opinions on David Koresh, the ATF, overreach of the federal government, and what, if anything, could have prevented this massacre.
