Show Notes

The term is called "fancasting" and it is when fans rally around the idea of a specific actor/actress they feel should play a particular upcoming role in TV or film. There are pros and cons to fancasting, and we cite recent examples from Star Wars (like Mena Massoud as Ezra or Lucy Lawless as Cara Dune) to represent both sides of the coin regarding the social media phenomenon. We also talk about other stories like James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, looking back on his experience playing a stormtrooper in Star Wars.  The Resistance base is open to all, so spread the word about our Star Wars podcast and join us!
