I get asked this question a lot:
How can I be more influential?
And often times when I am asked this, it isn't phrased exactly like that. It might sound more like… How can I motivate my team to do more? How can I better inspire my team?
There are a lot of ways that it is stated, but the bottom line is that they are asking: how do I influence people?
And I bring this up specifically because the way that the question is often phrased is part of the problem.
As leaders, if we want to have greater influence, we must focus on people and not position. Check out this episode to learn more about how YOU can be more influential.
