The Ontario Reign have re-signed forward Jacob Doty to an AHL contract for the 2023-24 season. Doty, 30, posted three points (1-2=3) and 17 penalty minutes for the Reign in nine 2022-23 games during limited action due to injury. Prior to last season, he skated in 41 contests with Ontario in 2021-22, also earning a goal and two assists. The upcoming campaign will be the fifth for Doty with Ontario and the ninth of his professional career.

The Ontario Reign have signed forward Charles Hudon to a two-year American Hockey League contract for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. Hudon, 29, will begin his 10th professional season with Ontario after a year with the Colorado Avalanche organization that saw him play nine NHL games and 61 contests with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles where he scored a team-high 54 points (29-25=54). Hudon totaled 17 power play goals for the Eagles which led the AHL, and posted four goals in seven postseason appearances. The Quebec native joins Ontario Reign broadcasters Jared Shafran and Josh Schaefer to discuss his career and decision to sign with Ontario.

The Ontario Reign have signed defenseman Wyatte Wylie to a one-year AHL contract for the 2023-24 season. Wylie, 23, is entering his fourth pro season after completing three years in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and joins Ontario Reign broadcasters Jared Shafran and Josh Schaefer to discuss his career and decision to sign with Ontario.
