Roxy Striar & Tara Erickson head back to Glenville Sanatorium in Declan O’Brien’s 2011 prequel Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, which reveals the origin of the Hillicker cannibals. What follows is a march of terror worthy of the franchise: Porter’s grisly kitchen butchery, Claire’s barbed-wire hang and decapitation, and the brutal trap that turns Kyle’s desperate barricade into a fatal mistake. The girls’ frantic fight leads to a harrowing outdoor snowmobile chase—complete with a razor-wire snare that decapitates the last survivors—while Three Finger hauls the severed heads away in his tow truck.
